Chevy Concept Cars: Code 130R and TRU 140S

The future is an exciting place. Chevy recently introduced two concept cars, the Code 130R and TRU 140S which highlight possible options for future Chevy models. Both of these concept models are designed to find out what younger buyers are interested, mainly in the range of 14-20 years old, aka future Chevy drivers. 

Code 130R

The Code 130R really offers Chevy an opportunity to establish connections with an audience that isn't even concerned with buying a nice vehicle at the time being, yet it allows Chevy to get ideas on what this age demographic desires in a car so it can connect with them down the road. Examples of this include a survey of the age demographic which resulted in the conclusion that this young generation like a four-seater due to their social nature. The powertrain options being discussed could allow the Chevy 130R to get up to 40mpg and sell for within the range of low $20,000's.

TRU 140S

Like the Chevy Code 130R the Chevy TRU 140S is marketed towards a younger audience. The TRU 140S is designed to entice these 14-20 year olds with a sporty, aesthetically appealing car that won't completely break their banks. Like the 130R this vehicle could have an MSRP around the low $20,000's.
