2012 Chevy Tahoe vs. 2012 Toyota Sequoia

In today's comparison we put the 2012 Chevy Tahoe up against the 2012 Toyota Sequoia. Which one of these models is more impressive and more capable for the road? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out. When you look across the board at the stats and features, the 2012 Tahoe dominates the Sequoia. Let us show you why.

Comfort: Every wants a lot of it while on the road. The 2012 Tahoe offers plenty of it; much more than the 2012 Sequoia. In both the back and front seats you will be able to stretch a lot more in the Tahoe. If you're someone who is tall you'll appreciate the Tahoe's comfort level, trust us. More room is always better!

Lets talk gas. With gas prices causing everyone to grow grey hair at an exponential rate these days MPG is always a serious concern when looking for a new vehicle. When you look at the gas mileage the 2012 Chevy Tahoe offers in comparison to the 2012 Toyota Sequoia, there really is actually no comparison. The Tahoe is going to give you superior gas mileage in the city and on the highway. This also means the cruising range is greater in the Tahoe, so get out there and hit the open road with the peace of mind that your vehicle isn't going to break your bank (if you choose the Tahoe).

But in all reality, who cares about gas mileage with the Tahoe or Sequoia if the MSRP isn't customer friendly. Well my friends the 2012 Tahoe is definitely a lot more friendly on your wallet than the 2012 Toyota Sequoia. To be exact, thousands more friendly. Use the money you'll save if you choose the 2012 Chevy Tahoe over the 2012 Toyota Sequoia to go to Vegas, or start a college fund for your son.

Speaking of a trip to Vegas, you're going to want to pack your vehicle full of friends and luggage. Guess what! The 2012 Tahoe offers you the room to fit 1-2 people more inside of it than the 2012 Sequoia, so bring everyone! Doesn't this mean that the Tahoe's dimensions are going to be larger and less convenient to park than the Sequoia? Nope. With the 2012 Tahoe you'll be able to squeeze in and out of parking spots easier than if you were in a Sequoia.

Does all of this talk about the Tahoe have you interested and wanting to dive in further? Rydell Chevrolet would love to help you in the process of finding your 2012 Tahoe. Give us a call at (888)-340-4631 today!

2012 Chevy Impala vs. 2012 Ford Taurus

Today's comparison takes a look at two popular American sedans. Which one is going to be more friendly on your wallet, at the gas station, and on you and your passengers? Let's dive in and examine these two models and see if we can declare a winner.

Let's first look at the comfort and utility aspects of the 2012 Chevy Impala when compared to the 2012 Ford Taurus. While there isn't much difference in head- and legroom between these two, if you look at the numbers that deal with dimensions for comfort, the 2012 Impala consistently does offer you more room than the Taurus. We know you've got friends that are going to want to ride in your new 2012 Chevy Impala, which is perfect due to the fact that the Impala offers greater seating capacity than the Taurus. Everybody jump in! You've got room to say that if you choose the Chevy Impala.

Gas mileage and MPG are always major concerns when shopping for a vehicle these days. The 2012 Chevy Impala's 30 highway MPG cannot be matched by the Taurus, meaning you can relax when driving down the open road knowing you've got a vehicle that isn't going to break your bank when it comes to gasoline. The two models match up comparably when dealing with city MPG. When it comes to gas mileage, Chevy takes it seriously and doesn't believe that you need to sacrifice anything at the pump.

As we continue our comparison of these two sedans our next stop is drivetrain and performance. The 2012 Chevy Impala is the winner in these two categories as well. The Impala offers higher torque and higher horsepower when compared to the 2012 Ford Taurus. The advanced technology which comes from advanced engineering in the Impala is what makes it special. You'll feel the luxury of a smooth ride, even with all that power under the hood waiting to come to life if needed.

One last punch to seal the knockout deal in our comparison of the 2012 Impala vs. the 2012 Taurus is the dimension factor. Everyone has had countless times where you're running late and need to find a quick parking spot, but the vehicle you're driving isn't so parking lot friendly. Well if you choose the 2012 Chevy Impala instead of the 2012 Ford Taurus you'll have less of those moments and be able to maneuver in and out of parking spots more easily. Chevy Runs Deep.

How does a brand new 2012 Chevy Impala sound to you? Rydell Chevrolet would love to aide you in your purchase of one, so visit http://www.rydellauto.com/all-inventory/index.htm?search=Impala today for a full listing. We're sure we have a 2012 Impala that will suit your needs!

2012 Chevy Traverse vs. 2012 Honda Pilot

Today's comparison looks at a couple of crossovers, one being the 2012 Chevy Traverse and the other being the 2012 Honda Pilot. But which model should you actually "cross over" for? Let's take a closer look and find out.

To start off, there really isn't much difference in space between these two models when talking about passengers in the backseat, however there is some separation between the two when talking about the driver and passenger seats. The 2012 Traverse is going to give you a little more head- and legroom in the front when compared to the 2012 Pilot thus making life a little more comfortable for the people up front in the Traverse.

Like power? We thought so. The numbers don't lie when you compare the 2012 Traverse to the 2012 Pilot in terms of horsepower and torque. The Chevy Traverse dominates the Pilot in both categories meaning the Traverse does a superior job of transmitting power to its wheels more effectively. Go ahead and brag to your friends about your new 2012 Traverse's power.

While both models are going to offer you the option to fit 8 people into them, there is one model that is going to allow you to do that AND offer you more cargo space. You guessed it, the 2012 Traverse is our winner here as well. Load up your 2012 Traverse with peace of mind knowing you are driving the vehicle with the greatest cargo space in its class.

520. That's the cruising range of the 2012 Traverse. Not too shabby, huh? And guess what, you have a lot at your fingertips to play with during those 520 miles. The 2012 Traverse has SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth Wireless Technology, a USB port, Mobile Apps, and Turn-by-Turn Navigation. Other technology included in the Traverse is a rear-view camera system and UltraSonic Rear Parking assist. Now that's smart. Smarter than us over here at Rydell Chevrolet, that's for sure.

Lastly, the 2012 Traverse received a 5 star overall vehicle score for safety. The vehicle has you and your loved ones in mind. Before, during, or after a crash, you're covered. Be smart and choose the 2012 Chevy Traverse over the 2012 Honda Pilot, you'll thank us later we promise.

2012 Chevy Suburban 1/2-Ton vs. 2012 Ford Expedition EL

It's obvious that the 2012 Suburban and the 2012 Expedition are large and mean business on the road. Let's compare these two big machines and see what SUV earns the crown.

Big vehicles for big people. Tall people are going to love the 2012 Chevy Suburban 1/2-Ton due to it's greater front head- and legroom than the 2012 Expedition. Got a lot of people? That's not an issue either due to the seating capacity of the Suburban. When compared to the 2012 Expedition, the 2012 Suburban can actually fit an entire extra person plus more cargo. Now that's big.

Now some people are going to be nervous when it comes to parking the 2012 Suburban or Expedition. You can be at ease if you chose the 2012 Chevy Suburban. It has a smaller turning radius than the 2012 Expedition meaning you will be able to maneuver in and out of tight parking spots more easily with the Suburban.

Let me guess, you're thinking, "These huge SUV's are just a couple of gas guzzling machines that are going to have me spending a ridiculous amount on gas every couple weeks". Well know this. The 2012 Suburban offers an EPA estimated 15 MPG in the city and 21 MPG on the highway, both of which are higher than the Expedition. This of course means that the cruising range is going to be better with the Suburban, and it is. The 2012 Suburban is going to give you close to 50 more miles on it's cruising range than the 2012 Expedition on the highway, at 651 and 603, respectively.

One last bit of information for you, while both vehicles offer the standard 3 year/ 36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty, the 2012 Suburban also offers a 100,000 mile Powertrain/Drivetrain limited warranty whereas the 2012 Expedition is only going to give you 60,000 miles with that warranty.

Are you on the hunt for a 2012 Chevy Suburban 1/2-Ton? Rydell Chevrolet has the one you are looking for! Visit http://www.rydellauto.com/all-inventory/index.htm?search=2012+Suburban for a complete listing of all of the Suburbans we have! Remember, nobody sells like Rydell!

2012 Chevy Camaro vs. 2012 Ford Mustang

The debate continues today when we take a look at two of the most iconic American sports cars on the market. How do the 2012 models of these two attractive vehicles stack up against each other? Let's take a look at a few of the stats and see if we can't declare a winner in this competition.

Chances are if you own a 2012 Chevy Camaro or a 2012 Ford Mustang you are going to want to show it off and hit the open road. Total cruising range in both the city and the highway is longer with the Camaro than the Mustang, meaning on a full tank of gas you are will be able to do and see more. All of this extra time on the road means more chances for an accident, right? Well don't worry about that, you're in good hands with the 2012 Chevy Camaro. The Camaro received 5-star ratings in Overall Safety rating, Frontal Crash rating, and Side Crash rating. Sexy meets safety when dealing with the 2012 Camero.

When we look at the comfort level for passengers in these two vehicles there is one clear choice for comfort. The 2012 Camaro has great leg- and headroom than the 2012 Mustang allowing for a more comfortable ride all around. Not only will you look good in a 2012 Camaro, but you'll feel good as well.

Let's get down to the nitty gritty facts that every guy wants to know. What vehicle has more "muscle"? Your winner for torque and horsepower does in fact go to the 2012 Chevy Camaro. The Camaro does a better job transmitting power to it's wheels resulting in a faster feel than the 2012 Mustang. Sorry Ford, maybe next year. This year's comparison has left one clear winner when it comes to appearance, comfort, power, and style. Don't get left in the dust with a Mustang, choose the 2012 Chevy Camaro!

2012 Chevy Silverado 3500 vs. GMC Sierra 3500

Power, performance, and payload. The 3 P's. That's what you'll get with the Silverado 3500 and you'll get a lot of it. With the 2012 Silverado 3500 being able to tow up to 23,000 lbs, it's no wonder that the Silverado offers the best-in-class maximum towing capacity and best-in-class maximum payload capacity.

The 2012 Silverado offers a Tow/Haul mode option that is going to enhance your performance when pulling heavy loads. This technology modifies that automatic transmission shift schedule and helps reduce throttle pedal activity. Brand new for the 2012 Silverado 3500 model is Cruise Grade Braking which uses transmission downshifts to allow engine compression braking. As you can see, not only is this truck strong, it's smart.

When comparing the comfort level between the Chevy Silverado 3500 and the GMC Sierra 3500 there is a distinct winner. Offering greater head- and legroom is the Silverado allowing passengers to stretch out more than if they were in a GMC Sierra. Isn't that nice? Oh yeah, the seats are have heating and cooling options as well.  The 2012 Silverado doesn't make you compromise anything- You get it all, power, performance, payload, comfort, and we haven't even talked about safety yet (don't worry, the Silverado won't disappoint you there either).

The 2012 GMC Sierra 3500's MSRP is higher than the Chevy Silverado 3500 meaning it's going to make you dive into your wallet a little more. That's never good. Not in times like these it's not. Make the smart move and go with the 2012 Silverado 3500 because Chevy Runs Deep, on and off the job.

Rydell Chevrolet would love to answer any questions you have regarding the 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500. Visit our website at http://www.rydellauto.com/index.htm today!

Spring is in the Air! Tips on Cleaning Your Ride

It's that time of year again. Time to tuck away the ice scraper and clean out all the trash in the backseat that accumulated over the cold winter months. Now is the perfect time to spend some time and make your vehicle shine in the sun this spring. Here is a list of some tips on what should all be done:

Interior
  1. Clear the Clutter. Throw away things or store things you don't really need anymore. The result will be a much more spacious interior and you'll feel great the next time you hop in.
  2. Clean the INSIDE of your windows. Over the winter months the outside of your windows may have been taken care of, but chances are you didn't touch the interior side of your windows once. Doing this will result in much cleaner glass that will increase your visibility and appearance of your ride.
  3. Protect your inside from the sun. Now with less clutter in your car and cleaner windows there is going to be a lot more sun entering your ride. Combat the sun and protect your leather/plastic surfaces by heading to your nearest store and purchasing some lotions that will protect your interior.
  4. Remember, it's allergy season. That means vacuum and vacuum often. This will help get rid of built up pollen in your vehicle that could worsen your allergies

Exterior
  1. As obvious as washing your car is for spring cleaning, it may not be enough. You may notice that after a personal wash your exterior still looks cloudy and faded, however this look may not be permanent. Calling professionals may be your next best bet to really get that sparkle back for your vehicle.
  2. Put a fresh coat of wax on after the car has been washed up to your standards! This is both great protection and also makes the color of your vehicle really pop.

Under the Hood/Underside
  1. Fluid levels. Monitor these and see what has been neglected over the dark winter months. Having all of your fluid levels filled up will ensure the safe operation of your vehicle and reduce chances for any kind of accident.
  2. Crawl underneath your car and see if there has been any damage to your vehicle over the winter months. Especially look for corrosion and rust build-up. If you aren't sure if any real damage has been done make a pit stop at your local dealership or other professional and have them take a look

Introducing the 2013 Chevy Spark

It's time for you to meet the 2013 Chevy Spark, which will be appearing in American streets this summer. This hipster looking vehicle is the "city driving solution" according to Chevrolet's website.

Affordability meets swagger.

A low price tag doesn't meet the vehicle has to put you at a low emotionally to drive it. That's why the 2013 Chevy Spark offers Bluetooth capability, OnStar RemoteLink app, USB port so you can plug in your portable devices, and a 7 inch digital touch screen that you can operate to pump music out of your SiriusXM Satellite radio. Woah, that was a mouthful. This little guy really packs a punch when it comes to technology.

An exciting concept for the 2013 Spark is that Chevy is actually going to offer tons of color customization options for your new Spark. For example, get your 2013 Spark in "Lemonade" or how about "Techno Pink". Are you fan of jalapenos? There's a shade for that as well. Everyone has their own identity and the 2013 Spark lets you express it.

Just how many airbags can you squeeze into this little sucker? Apparently 10. Chevy is offering every Spark with 10 standard airbags. That's safety, and that's not all of course. The Chevy Spark also comes with StabiliTrak Stability Control System with Brake Assist to help out when the roads aren't looking too shabby. Trust us, safety won't be a concern even for a vehicle of the Spark's stature.

We here at Rydell ar
e excited to eventually get our hands on some of these down the road when they are released in the U.S. this summer. If you have any questions regarding this new Chevy product don't hesitate to contact us!

2012 Chevy Avalanche 1500 vs. 2012 Cadillac Escalade EXT

The 2012 Chevy Avalanche and the 2012 Cadillac Escalade don't go unnoticed. They're both large, intimidating, and attractive models. But what vehicle is the better choice for you? Let's try and clear up some of the questions surrounding these two models in our comparison today.

The factor that really jumps out at you as you look at the 2012 Avalanche in comparison to the 2012 Escalade is price. The Cadillac Escalade is considerably more expensive than the Avalanche. We're talking around $20,000 more. That's pretty significant.

The beating to your wallet won't stop once you've purchased a 2012 Cadillac Escalade EXT either. You'll be making many more stops at the fueling station with the Escalade than the Avalanche due to the fact the Escalade only offers only 13 EPA estimated MPG in the city and 18 on the highway while the 2012 Avalanche is going to give you an EPA estimated 15 MPG in the city and 21 on the highway. The cruising range for the 2012 Avalanche is close to 100 more miles on the highway than the Escalade EXT!  If you choose the Avalanche go ahead and honk and wave at your friend who chose the Escalade as you drive by them filling up at your local gas station. They'll get the hint.

There isn't much difference in leg- and headroom between these two models, however you will be able to fit one more person in the 2012 Avalanche in comparison to the 2012 Escalade EXT. They both offer a V-8 engine and both have similar dimensions when it comes to parking or fitting your vehicle in a garage. We leave you with one final question: Is the 2012 Cadillac Escalade EXT worth it's hefty price tag?

2012 Chevy Cruze vs. 2012 Toyota Corolla

Today's look at two vehicles puts the 2012 Chevy Cruze up against the 2012 Toyota Corolla. While these vehicles have been said to be very similar across the board, I think after this discussion you will see that the Cruze is a cut above the Corolla. Let's take a look and see why.

When it comes to performance and power the Cruze gives you a higher torque than the 2012 Corolla. This translates over to the fact when we talk about horsepower the 2012 Chevy Cruze is going to feel a lot more powerful than the Corolla. The Cruze does a better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the 2012 Corolla.

This power and performance advantage doesn't mean you have to sacrifice utility and comfort. The Chevy Cruze definitely has a roomier feel to it due to the fact it allows for significantly more cargo capacity and also offers more front head and leg room.

Three other important features of a vehicle that consumers are concerned with more than ever are gas mileage, safety, and technology. You guessed it, the Cruze has the Corolla beat there as well. With the 2012 Cruze's 5 star overall safety rating combined with technology like Turn-by-Turn Navigation and the Infotainment System you have a vehicle that impresses on both the inside and the outside.

2012 Chevy Traverse vs. 2012 Toyota Highlander

The 2012 Chevy Traverse is truly a crossover that excels in all areas, but how does it match up against the 2012 Toyota Highlander? The 2012 Traverse is definitely ideal for hauling around a group of people due to its full-size third row feature. This allows the Traverse to comfortably fit 8 adults while offering more leg room than all competitors.

Other areas the 2012 Traverse has dominance over the Highlander in is torque, towing capacity, and horsepower. Compared to the Traverse the Highlander won't feel near as powerful on the road. Have something heavy to pull? The 2012 Chevy Traverse is clearly the consumers choice for hauling heavy loads. All in all when the 2012 Traverse flexes its muscles the Highlander runs away scared.

One last comment about fuel economy. The 2012 Traverse offers a substantially higher cruising range in the city and on the highway meaning it's more convenient to drive than the Highlander and also more friendly on your wallet.

2012 Chevy Impala vs. 2012 Nissan Maxima

Let's take a closer look in comparing 2012 Chevy Impala to the 2012 Nissan Maxima. You're probably wanting to know where these two models stack up when it comes to gas mileage. In the city you aren't going to see much difference between the two vehicles, however the highway is where the 2012 Chevy Impala out-performs the Maxima. The 2012 Impala is estimated to get 4 more miles per gallon than the 2012 Impala on the highway. That's pretty important. Next you are going to be curious about just how much room you will have to get comfortable with inside one of these models. Once again, with greater head and legroom, the 2012 Chevy Impala tops the Maxima.

More than likely you will spend a lot of time in your new vehicle with other people, so what about capacity? You guessed it, the 2012 Impala has more seating available AND more cargo space making it the ideal choice for hauling around people and things. Combine this with the Impala's horsepower (which tops the Maxima's) and I think it's clear who are winner is in this comparison.
