2012 Chevy Cruze vs. 2012 Ford Focus

2012 Chevrolet Equinox vs. 2012 Ford Escape

The next vehicle featured in Rydell Chevrolet's blog is the Chevy Equinox. Today we compare the 2012 model to the 2012 Ford Escape.

       

Chevy Equinox

Comfort wise the Chevy Equinox is ahead of the Escape, offering its passengers more room to stretch out and enjoy their ride. Both models have a seating capacity of 5. The vehicles are priced very similarly with the Equinox's MSRP being roughly $1,000 less than the Ford Escape according to thecarconnection.com. Gas mileage is also pretty similar, with the Equinox having the advantage in that category as well as it is able to offer up to 4 more miles to the gallon on the highway. The Equinox scored higher in frontal crash rating, side crash rating, and overall safety rating than the Escape, with the Equinox being 2 stars ahead in side crash rating and 1 star ahead in the other two according to newcars.com

Overall the Ford Escape receives lower total ratings than the Chevy Equinox. 2012 Chicago Auto Show

It's the largest auto show in North America. It's an auto exposition unlike any other on the continent. This year marks the 104th edition of the Chicago Auto Show and Rydell Chevrolet wouldn't miss it for the world! In this years 2012 Chicago Auto Show Chevy is planning to captivate its audience by having the 2012 Corvette 427 on display which blends elements of the Z06 and ZRI models to create the most-capable and fastest convertible in the history of the Corvette. A few concept cars from Chevy will be at the show as well. Chevy's TRU140S and CODE130R will be on display for people to check out. Chevy Silverado vs. Ford F-150

In times like these people want affordable cars that won't have them spending all of their time at the gas stations. Chevy Super Bowl XLVI Ads

The Super Bowl. The one day of the year in the U.S. where millions of Americans don't mind that what they're watching on television gets interrupted with commercials. This year Chevy had several T.V. spots during the Super Bowl including Chevy vehicles such as the Silverado, Sonic, and Volt to impress Super Bowl viewers.
